Majority of modern websites (like Gmail, Facebook, etc) are programmed with HTML5 which is made of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.  In this course, the students will learn the basics of web programming and create web pages with HTML5 technique.  Completed websites will be hosted in Internet for public access.

Duration: 12 Hours (4 sessions)

Language: Bilingual in Cantonese and English

Pre-requisite: Basic understanding of programming is an asset.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?


This course is good for students from the age of 11 and up who are interested in text-based programming and in creating their own websites. Any students under the age of 11 but with good typing skills and sound programming experience are welcome to join.




WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE CLASS?


Students need to carry their own laptop (Mac or Windows) that is well-charged, as well as chargers and connection wires. Mouse is optional, depending on students’ preference.
