Majority of modern websites (like Gmail, Facebook etc) are programmed with HTML5 which consists of HTML, CSS and JavaScripts.  In this course, we will introduce the basics of web programming and create useful web pages with HTML5.  Eventually, we will host the web pages such that they can be seen and found from the Internet.

Pre-requisite: Basic understanding of programming is an asset.

Who should learn Web Programming?

Students from the age of 9 and up who are interested in text-based programming. It is good if the students have some basic programming knowledge, but it is not a must.

Students need to carry their own laptop (Mac or Windows) that is well-charged, as well as chargers and connection wires. Mice can be optional, depending on the students’ preference.

** It is preferred that the student be used to the computer they will be using to achieve a better learning experience.
