Roblox Programming

Roblox is a massively multiplayer online game creation platform. Users can create, share and play games together online.

The course is designed for children of age 7 to 10. Children with passion of game design and game creation are highly recommended to take this course. Both computational thinking and graphics design skills are expected to be developed during this course.

Learning is most effective when children are engaged. Roblox has been a versatile multi-player gaming platform, and children will learn the advanced technique and exploit their creativity in creating games of their own.

Moreover, creating Roblox games require Lua scripting, it is a great way to start learning to program.

Our course does not require an existing Roblox account. Students just need to come with their own laptop (Windows / Mac), with Chrome installed. Please prepare administrator access for students to install Roblox and Roblox Studio during the first lesson. Mouse and charger are highly recommended during the lesson.

Using 2 devices in class is recommended (Laptop/Desktop computer with Chrome installed for practice, phone/tablet for video conference). Students will be asked to switch on camera and mic during the online class. Online classes may be recorded for internal use such as quality assurance and training purposes.
