Minecraft is a highly popular game in the world, but it is much more than just a game. Being a Silver Partner of Code Kingdoms (UK Company), we offer a course on developing Minecraft mods using drag and drop graphical interface editing Java codes. By creating simple modding, students will be able to create their own mini-games within Minecraft and play with their peers!

Pre-requisite: Some basic coding experience is preferred

WHAT IS MINECRAFT?
Minecraft is a three-dimensional game which allows children a great amount of freedom to explore and construct in its virtual world. Minecraft is the second mostly played game of all times just after Tetris.

We were the Programme Partner and provided technical supports to Minecraft competition co-hosted by Microsoft and HKEdCity in Learning and Teaching Expo 2016 and 2017. WHY MINECRAFT COURSES?
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
The course is designed for children of age 8 or older who has no or basic understanding of Minecraft.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE COURSE?
Students need to bring a laptop (Windows or Mac) with Minecraft installed (downloaded from www.minecraft.net). Students also need a Minecraft account which can be purchased online from Minecraft website or via a redemption card purchased from convenience stores.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ONLINE TEACHING?
(Laptop/Desktop computer with Chrome installed for practice, phone/tablet for video conference)
** Students will be asked to switch on camera and mic during the online class
** Online classes may be recorded for internal use such as quality assurance and training purpose
